Hello, I love your site. I also have a similar updated site located at the above url (the contents page has info on submitting your sites to the directory, if they aren't already there). But if you would like to bypass the beginning of the site, and go directly to the Irish Wolfhound section is at: http://www.skyefaerie.com/skyefaerie/breeds_irishwolfhounds.html. Come see and please sign the guestbook!

Great web site. I just lost Patrick my eleven year old IW on August 21 2000. Before him, in April 89, I lost my first IW, Shaun. He was 12. Patrick was my only family and I am hurt deeply. It's been 3 and a half months and I am going to have a new pup probably in March of 2001. I may get two, we'll see. It really helps to see the photos of your IWs and to read about them. It reminds me of the days when mine were with me and helps me cope with the loss. I appreciate your efforts and I encourage you to keep up the good work. Thanks, Lee.

Hi. Greetings from South Africa. Enjoyed your site. I have a beautiful Irish Wolfhound called Finnegan, who is now five years old and a real character. He runs and rolls — and sometimes shies — like a horse, pussyfoots around the house like one one my cats, all of whom he loves and is very sweet to. He can chomp a leg-of-lamb bone into tiny pieces in about 10 bites and is also very good at lazing on his bed for hours when he can’t think of anything more exciting to do. He causes a sensation wherever he goes. At first people are astonished at his size and then charmed by his gentleness. Sound familiar?

I have in the past owned 2 wolfhounds white & brindal, they were never taken to the shows, only used as the family pets, the last one died 18 months ago he was in his 11th year (Tyran) I think he may have been the only wolf hound to have a face lift, he had a bad bottom lip, he always left a big slobber on your leg every time you went to pat him. It is great to see so much info on this breed, please keep up the great work, also let me know if any breeders are due to have pups, regards wolfhound fan from over the ditch.

G'day, I was at the Perth Royal Show recently and saw an Irish Wolfhound...and what a beauty he was. I'm Irish myself - from Cork City - came out to Australia in '83 and am now the Principal of a small Catholic school in the sticks. I'd get a wolfhound in the morning if I could but my wife would prefer if I'd wait 'til the kids leave home so that we'd have enough money to feed 'HIM'. I had a wolfhound in Ireland many years ago - Cormac was his name - and I'd dearly love to have another...one day. I've enjoyed your site -thanks. I'll check in again.

Loved looking at your page again. We have John and Sue Lewington's Greycroft Devlin, now nearly 9 months old, and loved to bits. He lives with our two older Danes and swims and retrieves and does all sorts of un-houndy things! Best wishes from all at Windy Acres, Carnarvon, WA.

We are keen to adopt one of these magnificent beings. How well do they relate to whippets and cats, we have one of each. Is there some way we can get to meet you and other breeders. Perhaps you would be kind enough to let me know. Loved the page, thanks for joining the ring.

I like your website especially the part about PSS. We currently have three Wolfies which we show two of. We have had Wolfies for the past thirteen years and I had never heard much about liver shunt so it was great to read up a bit about it. Keep up the good work.
