Hanafor Field Trial and Retrieving Trial Trophy Winners 2007

Congratulations to Gary Ponzio and Agnes Pali and "Madi", Dual Ch [F] Hubertus Pannonia Ekes NRD [IID] (FT Ch/Int Ch/Hng Gr Ch Luppa Vadasz Ficko x Ch & FT Ch/Hng Gr Ch Csokolandy Dorka Of Hubertus [Imp Hng]) for winning the Hanafor Retrieving Trial Trophy for 2007.  This team won the field trial trophy last year.  Insufficient points were awarded for a winner in the Field trial Trophy this year.

HVCV Specialty Show

Mrs Jeanette McGinnis (USA) judged the 2007 HVCV Championship show on November 4th.  From 41 entries, Best in Show was awarded to Barb Stading's Ch Hanafor The Xecutioner (Gr Ch Hanabrit Ponting The Way [Imp UK] x Ch Kimlise Isobella Ximenex).  Reserve dog, from the minor puppy class, was Graebrook Kennels' Graebrook Patriot Games (Ch Hungargunn Hyperno x Gr Ch Graebrook Dzina Mzooni).  R/U in Show was  Gr Ch Graebrook Dzina Mzooni (Gr Ch Erdos By Design CCD JDX AD ET x Ch Graebrook Dantes Suswa).  Reserve bitch CC was Louise and Trevor Brooks' Ch Brozak Diamond Edition (Gr Ch Hubertus Special Edition [AI] x Ch Brozak Diamonds Forever TD AD JD).
 

HVCNSW Specialty Show 

Mrs Marsha Hall Brown (USA) awarded Best in Show to Iris and Jane-Ann Furlong's Gr Ch Szepzeg Tequila Sunrise (Gr Ch Hubertus Special Edition [AI] x Ch Szepzeg Amazing Grace).  R/U Best in Show went to the John and Sian Hine's Ch Tanashka Magus Taita (Ch Hubertus Pannonia Varazs [IID] x Ch Tanashka Red Ochre Rubee).  Reserve Dog CC was Faye Harris and Cathy & Rich Austin's Hanafor The Xtrovert (Gr Ch Hanabrit Ponting The Way [Imp UK] x Ch Kimlise Isobella Ximenex), with litter sister of the BCC winner, Ch Tanashka Magus Lana owned by Steve and Isobel Quinn, reserve bitch CC.  Unfortunately, attendance was affected by a bout of kennel-cough making the rounds, with 12 of the 42 entries, absent.

  

Two Hungarian Wirehaired Vizslas were shown, with Best of Breed awarded to Faye Harris' Ch Silvanus Lord Nelson [Imp UK] (Borostyanko Marci [Imp Hun] x Silvanus Absolutely Fab), and Faye's Throstlenest Miz Monipenny Of Silvanus [Imp UK] (Silvanus Oh Oh Seven x Starfitts Molly), R/U BOB.
 

Yogi's winning ways

... continue. 'Yogi', Ch & Eng Sh Ch Hungargunn Bear Itn Mind (Ch. Hubertus Dealers Choice x Ch. Hungargunn Unforgettable) has now been awarded 11 Best in Show, 7 Runner-Up Best in Show (all breeds), 2 Best in Gundog Show, 1 Runner-Up Best in Gundog Show, and 3 Best in Specialty Show wins whilst residing in the UK.  Well done!
 

Elyot's Best in Shows

Meanwhile, in September and October Kym Barnett and Heiderst Kennels' 'Elyot', Gr Ch Hanafor Ysabeau Elyot ET (Gr Ch Hanafor Master Callaway x Ch Kimlise Isobella Ximenex) chalked up his fourth and fifth BIS wins, and a R/U Best in Show. .. and another R/UBIS in November.  Congrats Elyot and connections.

Spring Royals 2007

Hobart

Best of breed and R/U Best in group for the second consecutive year at the 2007 Hobart Royal Show was Faye Harris' Gr. Ch. Hanabrit Ponting The Way [Imp. UK] (Eng. Sh. Ch. Gardenway Dramatist x Hanafor Libden Akira [Imp. Aust.]). Mr. Paolucci (Argentina) awarded R/UBOB to Agnes Pali's Ch Hubertus On The Avenue (Ch Hubertus Whos The Boss x Ch Hubertus Madison Avenue).  There were 21 entries, 5 absentees.

Launceston

Mr Magsaysay (Philippines) judged Hungarian Vizslas at the 2007 Launceston Royal.  From 14 entries (2 absent), Best of Breed was awarded to Agnes Pali's Ch Hubertus Eagle Rock (Ch Hubertus Whos The Boss x Gr Ch Hubertus Sound Of Music), with R/UBOB going to Agnes' Ch Hubertus On The Avenue (Ch Hubertus Whos The Boss x Ch Hubertus Madison Avenue).  Launceston Royal is held the same weekend as the HVCNSW Specialty.  

Melbourne

Congratulations to Bec Sloan and 'Hudson', Ch Abbiestar Thrillseeker AD JD SPD ET (Ch Abbiestar Aristotle ET x Ch Abbiestar Grand Marnier ET) on their second placing in Excellent Agility at the 2007 Royal Melbourne Show.

Dog challenge and Best of Breed at Adelaide Royal went to Kym Barnett and Heiderst Kennels' Gr Ch Hanafor Ysabeau Elyot ET (Gr Ch Hanafor Master Callaway x Ch Kimlise Isobella Ximenex), with R/UBOB going to the bitch challenge winner, Agnes Pali's Ch Hubertus On The Avenue (Ch Hubertus Whos The Boss x Ch Hubertus Madison Avenue).  Reserve DCC was awarded to Agnes Pali's Hubertus Out Of The Blue (litter brother to the BCC winner) with ResBCC going to Kimberley Herewane's Ch Erdos Miss Congeniality (Ch Erdos Indiana Jones x Ch Erdos Dream Lover).
  

RCMT & Kiai pointscore competition winners 2006-2007

Congratulations to Faye Harris and ‘Punter’, Grand Ch Hanabrit Ponting The Way [Imp UK] and to Lois and Cinnamon Clark and ‘Zoonie’, Grand Ch Graebrook Dzina Mzooni for winning the Best Dog and Best Bitch respectively, in the Rozsda Catharina Memorial Trophy pointscore competition for 2006-2007.  This is Punter’s fourth win in five years, and Zoonie’s third consecutive win.

  

The Rozsda Catharina Memorial Trophy began in 1990 and is open to all Australian Vizslas.  It is for conformation exhibitors and is donated by Drs Rob and Mandy Auricht of South Australia, in memory of their bitch, Rozsda Catharina.

  

Congratulations to Lara Sedgmen and ‘Rogan’, Hanafor Rousel Vieri CDX ADM ADO JDM JDO SPD GDX SD NRD on winning the Kiai Memorial Agility Trophy for the second consecutive year.

  

The Kiai Memorial Agility Trophy is in memory of Australia's first agility titled Hungarian Vizsla, Ch Aranyoz Gyors Galen AD NRD RRD ('Kiai'). This trophy, open to all Australian Hungarian Vizslas was offered for the first time, commencing in July 2000, and is sponsored by the Hungarian Vizsla Club of NSW.

R/U Best in Show - Evie

Congratulations to Agnes Pali and 'Evie', Ch Hubertus On The Avenue (Ch Hubertus Whos The Boss x Ch Hubertus Madison Avenue) on being awarded their fourth R/U Best in Show.  Evie's R/UBIS have been at Central Victorian CC in April, in June at Leeton-Griffith ABKC, and two in August - at Murray Valley KC International and at Macalister.

Brisbane Royal 2007

Mr D. Windsor (Canada) judged Vizslas at the 2007 Royal Queensland Show. From 16 entries (8 absent), dog challenge and BOB was awarded to Damen Winch & Trish Johnson's Ch Hubertus Jackpot (Gr Ch Hubertus Dealers Choice x Gr Ch Hubertus Bestillmy Heart).  ResDCC was Susan and David Metcalfe's Ch Ciganyoz Go Your Own Way [AI] (Am Ch Lyons Strike Gold JH CDX x Ciganyoz Dream Catcher).  Challenge bitch and R/UBOB was the Metcalfe's Ch Hungargunn Je Temme (Ch & Eng Sh Ch Hungargunn Bear Itn Mind x Ch Hungargunn Femme Fatale), with Winch and Johnson's Ch Hubertus Electric Dreams (Ch Hubertus Whos The Boss x Gr Ch Hubertus Sound Of Music) reserve CC.

Darwin Royal 2007

This years Darwin Royal Show attracted three Vizsla entries.  Dog challenge, Best of Breed, Puppy in Group and R/U Best in Group went to Agnes Pali's Hubertus Yahoo Cs Royale (Gr Ch Hubertus Our Royal Flush x Ch Hubertus Electric Dreams).  Bitch challenge, R/UBOB and Junior in Group was Agnes' Ch Hubertus Temptation (Ch Hubertus Halmark Edition x Gr Ch Hubertus Sound Of Music).

The HVCSA conducted two specialty shows on 9th June; a Championship show, judged by Mrs. T. Matthews (SA) and an Open show, judged by Mr. T. Webb (SA).  Best in Show at the Champ show (15 entries) was Teryl May's Ch Erdos Zambezi ET (Ch Erdos Alexander x Erdos Lady In Red), with Kym Barnett and Heiderst Kennels' Gr Ch Hanafor Ysabeau Elyot ET (Gr Ch Hanafor Master Callaway x Ch Kimlise Isobella Ximenex) taking R/U Best in Show.  Best in Show at the Open show (12 entries) was Teryl's Ch Erdos Zambezi ET (Ch Erdos Alexander x Erdos Lady In Red), with R/U Best in Show, Snobound Kennel's Ch Erdos Miss Congeniality (Ch Erdos Indiana Jones x Ch Erdos Dream Lover).

Tracking Champion - Lily

Congratulations to Ros Leighton and 'Lily' on passing their final requisite track to attain their Tracking Champion title.  Tr Ch Hanafor the Lady Agatha (Gr Ch Hanabrit Ponting The Way [Imp UK] x Gr Ch Jasmegon Rasabee Joanna) is Australia's 14th Tracking Champion Hungarian Vizsla.

Grand Champions - Luther & Harley

Two Vizslas have recently joined the Grand Champion ranks, both with the same Grand Champion sire.  Congratulations on achieving their Grand Champion title to Jane-Ann and Iris Furlong and ‘Luther’, Szepzeg Tequila Sunrise (Gr Ch Hubertus Special Edition [AI] x Ch Szepzeg Amazing Grace), and to Agnes Pali and 'Harley', Hubertus Double Trouble (Gr Ch Hubertus Special Edition [AI] x Ch Hubertus Liberty Bell). 

Our first Hungarian Wirehaired Vizsla Champion - Nelson

Congratulations on achieving his Champion title to 'Nelson', Ch Silvanus Lord Nelson [Imp UK] (Borostyanko Marci [Imp Hng] x Silvanus Absolutely Fab), and his connections.  The breed has only recently been recognised in Australia, and eligible to be shown from January 2007.

Grand Champion - Figaro

Congratulations on achieving their Grand Champion title to Georgina Schweier and Agnes Pali and 'Figaro' Grand Ch Hubertus Fun N Games (Gr Ch Hubertus Cimeres Ceger x Ch Hubertus Penny Royal).

Autumn Specialties & Royals

Sydney Royal 2007

Judging at this year's Sydney Royal was conducted differently than usual for Australia - classes were separated into non-champion age classes, with champions in a separate class and not eligible for the challenge certificate.  From 28 entries (5 absent), Mrs. K. Butrimova (Lithuania) awarded DCC (7 points) to Agnes Pali's Hubertus Royal Edition [AI].  Reserve CC was Sharon and Matthew Mallinson's Paradox Iceana Gold Star JH [Imp USA].  Challenge bitch (8 points) was Agnes' Hubertus Xtreme, with Robyn Fowkes' Vincentoria Velveteen reserve CC.  Best of Breed was Agnes Pali's Ch Hubertus On The Avenue (Ch Hubertus Whos the Boss x Ch Hubertus Madison Avenue), with Hubertus Xtreme (Ch Hubertus Double Trouble x Gr Ch Hubertus Miss Moneypenny) taking R/UBOB and Gundog Puppy of the Day.

  

HVCNSW Easter Show

At the HVCNSW 31st championship show, Mr Peter Baynes (USA) awarded Best in Show to Naomi Cragg's dog, Ch Hungargunn Hyperno (Ch & Eng Sh Ch Hungargunn Bear Itn Mind x Ch Hungargunn Femme Fatale), with R/U Best in Show going to the bitch, Trish Johnson and Damen Winch's Ch Hubertus Electric Dreams (Ch Hubertus Whos The Boss x Gr Ch Hubertus Sound Of Music).  Reserve dog challenge was Stephen & Isobel Quinn's Gr Ch Tanashka Red Ochre Bazel (Ch Lutra Bronze Major [Imp UK] x Ch Hanafor Tantu Ashka), and reserve bitch the Quinn's, Ch Tanashka Dzsentri Klara (Gr Ch Hanabrit Ponting The Way [Imp UK] x Ch Hanafor Tantu Ashka).  There were 39 breed entries, and 6 absentees.

  

Toowoomba Royal 2007

Mr. M. Beech (Canada) awarded challenge (9 points) and BOB to Iris and Jane-Ann Furlong's Ch Szepzeg Tequila Sunrise (Gr Ch Hubertus Special Edition [AI] x Ch Szepzeg Amazing Grace). Lange's Huseges Hawks Prophet (Ch Huseges Haldirs Hitman [AI] x Ch Jaelex Jarahs Angel) took reserve challenge and R/UBOB.  Trish Johnson and Damen Winch's Ch Hubertus Nonchalance (Hubertus Legacy In Gold x Ch Hubertus Pannonia Szepe [IID]. was awarded BCC (7 points), with Trish and Damen's Ch Hubertus Electric Dreams (Ch Hubertus Whos The Boss x Gr Ch Hubertus Sound Of Music) being awarded reserve challenge.

Queensland

At the HVCQ Championship Show on 11th March, judge Laine Knox (NSW) awarded Best in Show to Iris and Jane-Ann Furlong's Ch Szepzeg Tequila Sunrise (Gr Ch Hubertus Special Edition [AI] x Ch Szepzeg Amazing Grace).  Reserve challenge dog was Trish Johnson and Damen Winch's Ch Hubertus Jackpot (Gr Ch Hubertus Dealers Choice x Gr Ch Hubertus Bestillmy Heart). R/U Best in Show was the bitch challenge winner, Kathleen Eory's Agasvari Gold Beauty (Agasvari Master Mind x Agasvari Timefor Jazz), with reserve challenge Susan and David Metcalfe's Ch Hungargunn Je Temme (Ch & Eng Sh Ch Hungargunn Bear Itn Mind x Ch Hungargunn Femme Fatale).

Canberra Royal 2007

Mr. Chris Bexon (UK) judged Hungarian Vizslas at the 2007 Canberra Royal.  There were 10 Vizslas entered, with 2 absent (3 entries in baby puppy classes).  Dog challenge (7 points) was Agnes Pali's Ch Hubertus Eagle Rock (Ch Hubertus Whos The Boss x Gr Ch Hubertus Sound Of Music), with Agnes' Ch Hubertus Halmark Edition (Gr Ch Hubertus Special Edition [AI] x Ch Hubertus Madison Avenue) reserve dog.  Bitch challenge (8 points) and BOB was Agnes' Ch Hubertus On The Avenue (Ch Hubertus Whos the Boss x Ch Hubertus Madison Avenue), with Hubertus Temptation (Ch Hubertus Halmark Edition x Gr Ch Hubertus Sound Of Music) Reserve BCC, R/UBOB and Puppy in Group.

HVCQ Open Show

The HVCQ Open Show was conducted on 16th December.  Mrs S. Jewell (Q) again adjudicated, and from 21 breed entries (4 absentees), awarded Best in Show to Kathleen Eory's dog, Ch Agasvari Licensed Towin (Gr Ch & NZ Ch Agasvari Diamonds Foever x Gr Ch & NZ Ch Agashi Mystic Zsadra), with R/UBIS going to Trish Johnson and Damen Winch's Hubertus Nonchalance (Hubertus Legacy In Gold x Ch Hubertus Pannonia Szepe [IID].  Reserve best dog was Iris and Jane-Ann Furlong's Ch Szepzeg Tequila Sunrise (Gr Ch Hubertus Special Edition [AI] x Ch Szepzeg Amazing Grace), with reserve best bitch Kathleen Eory's Ch Agasvari Jazz Forever (Gr Ch & NZ Ch Agasvari Diamonds Foever x Ch Agasvari Brilliant Jazz).

Grand Champion - Zooni

Congratulations to Lois and Cinnamon Clark and our newest Grand Champion 'Zooni',  Grand Ch Graebrook Dzina Mzooni (Gr Ch Erdos By Design CCD JDX AD ET x Ch Graebrook Dantes Suswa).  Zooni achieved her final points in style going R/UBIG.

Dr. Tamas Jakkel (Hungary) judged gundogs at the Royal Melbourne Show.  From 42 Vizsla entries (14 absent), Best of Breed, and Group 3rd was awarded to Agnes Pali's Ch. Hubertus Eagle Rock (Hubertus Whos The Boss x Gr. Ch. Hubertus Sound Of Music).  R/U Best of Breed went to the puppy bitch, Hubertus On The Avenue (Ch. Hubertus Whos the Boss x Ch. Hubertus Madison Avenue), also owned by Agnes.  Reserve dog went to Agnes' puppy, Hubertus Out Of The Blue, and reserve bitch to Graebrook Kennels, Graebrook Dzyna Nawarra (Gr. Ch. Erdos By Design C.C.D., J.D.X., A.D., E.T. x Ch. Graebrook Dantes Suswa).  Leanne Trotter's Dual Ch [O] Sagax Run For the Roses E.T. (Ch. Hanafor Red Red Rose).  Runner-up BOB was the reserve dog challenge winner, co-owned by Kym and Heiderst Kennels, Ch. Hanafor Ysabeau Elyot (Gr. Ch. Hanafor Master Callaway x Ch. Kimlise Isobella Ximenex).  Bitch Challenge was awarded to Graebrook Kennels, Ch. Graebrook Dzina Mzooni (Gr. Ch. Erdos By Design C.C.D., J.D.X., A.D., E.T. x Ch. At Brisbane Royal, judge Mr. Krishnamurthy (India) awarded dog challenge and Best of Breed to Iris and Jane-Anne Furlong's Ch. Szepzeg Tequila Sunrise (Gr. Ch. Hubertus Special Edition [A.I.] x Ch. Szepzeg Amazing Grace).  Runner-up Best of Breed was awarded to Susan and David Metcalfe's puppy bitch, Hungargunn Je Temme (Ch. & Eng. Sh. Ch. Hungargunn Bear Itn Mind x Ch. Hungargunn Femme Fatale).  Reserve dog was the Metcalfe's Ch. Ciganyoz Limited Edition (Ch. Hubertus Pannoniai Tokaj [I.I.D] x Ciganyoz Serendipity), and reserve challenge bitch was Jaqui Shaw's Ch. Darwin Royal

Two Vizslas were entered at this years Darwin Royal Show.  Mr. J. Rowles awarded Best of Breed to Lesley Cameron's Hubertus Kruzn Around (Ch. Hubertus Pannonia Varazs [IID] x Ch Hubertus Just Jezabel), with runner-up, Agnes Pali's Hubertus In Fine Style (Ch. Rhubradhu Rhusti Fahri x Ch. Hubertus True Heart).

SA Agility Championships

Congratulations to 'Team Tamassy' - Helen Tamassy and 'Miki', Erdos Hot Property C.D., A.D., J.D.X. (Ch. Erdos Indiana Jones x Ch. Hanafor Red Red Rose) on achieving their A.D.X. title as well as passes in JDO and ADO at the South Australian State Agility & Jumping Championships.  These passes entitled Helen and Miki to compete in the finals, where Miki took out second place in the ADX class.

BIS-BIS-busy Yogi

'Yogi' [Ch. & Eng. Sh. Ch. Hungargunn Bear Itn Mind (Ch. Hubertus Dealers Choice x Ch. Aust.]), who was awarded Best in Show at Huon & Channel K.C. in May.  On June 10th 'Punter' was awarded Runner-up Best in Show at The Classic Dog Show.  These wins are Punter's third All Breeds BIS and third all breeds R/UBIS.

Healthiest dog competition winner - Miki

Congratulations to Helen Tamassy's 'Miki', Erdos Hot Property C.D., A.D., J.D.X. (Ch. Erdos Indiana Jones x Ch. Hanafor Red Red Rose) who was one of the runners-up in the Dogs Life and Supercoat Health and Nutrition competition to find ".. the healthiest dogs in Australia".  Miki is pictured on page 79 of the May/June 2006 issue of Dogs Life magazine.

Szepzeg Amazing Grace).  Reserve Dog Challenge was Ruth Best's Huseges Hawks Prophet (Ch. Huseges Haldirs Hitman [A.I.] x Jaelex Jarahs Angel), with Ch. Hubertus Fancie Free (Ch. Hubertus Main Event x Ch. Hubertus Ziegfeld Girl) owned by Jaqui Shaw being awarded Reserve Bitch Challenge.  There were 15 entries, with 1 absentee.

  

 

Obedience Champion - Ilushka

Congratulations to Anne Morgan and Ilushka. on achieving the final UD pass for their Obedience Champion title to become O.C. Erdos Tennesee Rose J.D. (Gr. Ch. & Am. Ch. Ciganyoz Key Largo [AI] C.D.  x Ch. Erdos Belle Matilda) . Anne and Ilushka (pictured right) achieved this pass in style, going on to win the overall trial.

At the Tweed River Canine Club on 25th March, Iris and Jane-Ann Furlong's 'Luther', Ch. Szepzeg Tequila Sunrise (Gr. Ch. Hubertus Special Edition [A.I.] x Ch. Szepzeg Amazing Grace) won R/U Best in Group, and R/U Best in Show.  The Best in Group, and Best in Show winner also belonged to the Furlong's - their Weimaraner bitch, Gr. Ch. Kadma Power Of A Dream.  Congratulations!

HVCQ Championship Show - 12 March 2006

Best in Show at the HVCQ Open Show on December 12th was awarded to Ruth Best's 'Gryph', Gr. Ch. Kiraly Zalan (Buszkebajnok Akos x Agasvari Apollo).  R/UBIS was awarded to the reserve dog, Ch. Agasvari Licensed Towin (Gr. Ch. & NZ Ch. Agasvari Diamonds Foever x Ch. & NZ Ch. Agashi Mystic Zsadra). Best bitch was Kathleen Eory's Agasvari Sunrise Melodia (Ch. Agasvari Perfect Song x Agasvari Vadasz Elle), and reserve bitch, Ruth Best's Jaelex Jarahs Angel (Ch. Hanafor Tantu Ashka) Dog Challenge and BIS.  'Bazel' took out R/UBIS earlier in the year under Jackie Perkins (UK).  R/UBIS went to the bitch challenge winner, Iris and Jane-Ann Furlong's Ch. Szepzeg Amazing Grace (Ch. Foxridge Dakota C.D. x Ch. Ciganyoz Ms American Pie).  Reserve dog challenge was awarded to the Furlong's Ch. Szepzeg Tequila Sunrise (Gr. Ch. Hubertus Dealers Choice (Gr. Ch. Hubertus Special Edition (A.I.). x Ch. Hubertus Liberty Bell).  Bitch Challenge & R/UBOB was Ch. Hubertus Bestillmy Heart (Gr. Ch. Hubertus Cimeres Ceger x Gr. Ch. Melbourne Royal & a new Grand Champion - Marnie

Best of breed at Melbourne Royal for the second consecutive year was Alun and Carol Gallie and Vicki Marsden's Grand Ch. Erdos By Design A.D., J.D., E.T. (Gr. Ch. Hanafor Master Callaway x Ch. Hanafor Red Red Rose).  Judge, Mrs. Agnes Ganami-Kertes (Israel) awarded reserve dog to Sharon and Matthew Mallinson's Ch. Iceana Gold Point E.T. (Ch. Vidiem Enter For Gold x Ch. Hanafor Marna Murrell).  Bitch challenge, which gave 'Marnie' the final points for her Grand Champion title, was Vicki Marsden and Liat O'Malley's Ch. Erdos Material Girl (Ch. Rozsda Copper Shadrach x Ch. Erdos Calendar Girl), with reserve challenge  awarded to Agnes Pali's Ch. Hubertus Madison Avenue (Gr. Ch. Hubertus Our Royal Flush x Gr. Ch. Hubertus Hearts Onfire).  Puppy of breed was Agnes Pali's Hubertus Eagle Rock (Hubertus Whos The Boss x Gr. Ch. Hubertus Sound Of Music).  This year's Royal attracted an entry of 44, with 37 present.

English Show Champion Yogi

Congratulations to Naomi Cragg and Yogi's UK family, the Armstrong's - in his third show in England Yogi has taken his third dog challenge (and third BOB) giving him his English Show Champion title.  Pending approval, he will be Ch. & Eng. Sh. Ch. Hungargunn Bear Itn Mind (Ch. Hubertus Dealers Choice x Ch. Hungargunn Unforgettable) (see picture on this page).  Yogi also took R/U in Group. In three outings, Yogi has been awarded 3 CCs, 3 BOB, a R/U BIS at a Gundog show, a Group 3 and a Group 2. Congratulations all.

At his first outing in the UK at the National Gundog Association Show, Naomi Cragg's 'Yogi', Ch. Hungargunn Bear Itn Mind (Ch. Hubertus Dealers Choice x Ch. Hungargunn Unforgettable) (see picture on this page) was awarded dog challenge and Best of Breed.  Yogi also went on to win Runner-up Best in Show.  Best in Show was the English Setter, Sh Ch Bournehouse Royal Colours who was R/UBIS at Crufts earlier this year.

.. and in his second show in UK, Yogi again took CC and BOB, and group 3rd... that's two CC's down, and one to go for his Eng. Sh. Ch. title... go Yogi!

Triple Champion!

Anne Salisbury's 'Huxley', Dual Ch [O] Hanafor Huxley Murrell (Ch. Lutra Bronze Major [Imp. UK] x Ch. Hanafor Benbold Deana) has completed Track 6 and pending approval, achieves his Tracking Champion title, and becomes Australia's third TRIPLE champion Hungarian Vizsla.  Huxley has achieved champion titles in conformation, obedience and tracking.  Congratulations Anne and Huxley!!!

Victoria

The HVCV's 14th Championship show conducted on 13th March was judged by Mrs. E. Smith (Vic).  From 36 entries, she chose Faye Harris' Gr. Ch. Hanabrit Ponting The Way [Imp. UK] (Eng. Sh. Ch. Gardenway Dramatist x Hanafor Libden Akira [Imp. Aust.]) as her Dog Challenge winner and BIS.  R/UBIS went to the Bitch Challenge winner, Graebrook Kennels' Ch. Graebrook Dzina Mzooni (Gr. Ch. Erdos By Design E.T. x Ch. Graebrook Dantes Suswa).  Reserve Dog Challenge was awarded to Faye Harris' Ch. Hanafor Grand Tradition (Gr. Ch. Hanafor Master Callaway x Gr. Ch. Jasmegon Rasabee Joanna), with Reserve Bitch Challenge going to Ch. Fairdenbivey Teal (Gr. Ch. Hanabrit Ponting The Way [Imp UK]) x Fairdenbivey Red Tag), owned by Steff & Martin Waddingham & Faye Harris.  Results & photos can be seen here.

  

Queensland

Hot on the heels of a Champ Show & Open Show conducted on the same day in December, the HVCQ conducted a Championship Show on 6 March.  Judge, Mrs. Val Spence (Qld), chose Jacqui Shaw's Ch. Hubertus Miss Moneypenny (Gr. Ch. Hubertus Our Royal Flush x Gr. Ch. Hubertus Hearts Onfire) as her Bitch Challenge winner and BIS.  R/UBIS was awarded to Kathleen Eory's dog, Ch. Agasvari Licensed Towin (Gr. Ch. & NZ Ch. Agasvari Diamonds Foever x Ch. & NZ Ch. Agashi Mystic Zsadra).  Reserve Dog Challenge went to the sire of the Dog Challenge winner, Gr. Ch. & NZ Ch. Agasvari Diamonds Foever (Ch. Agasvari Draga Diamond x Toviz Tia Of Amite), also owned by Kathleen.  Reserve Bitch Challenge was awarded to Ruth Best's Jaelex Jarahs Angel (Ch. Arithon Charmed Destiny x Vicoridge Shanley Del).
