IF? LIVE JAUNTS September 27
Local label IF? has continued to be one of Melbourne’s principle purveyors of live electronic music over the last 4 years, and Thursday nights in October are shaping up nice and healthily! October 8 - IF? begins the first of its monthly sessions at new club Laundry (50 Johnston Street, Fitzroy) with a horde of local live acts and DJs. October 15 - IF? takes over new club Slapo (upstairs at 15 Heffernan Lane in Chinatown) with live performances by Artificial, Blimp and Little Nobody. October 22 - It’s IF? vs PBS FM at the Esplanade Hotel in St Kilda, a live-to-air benefit for the station that will feature Little Nobody, Rhizo, Isnod and E. October 30 - Stand by for Zoetrope 7 at the Punters Club in Fitzroy, featuring Zen Paradox, URB, E & Little Nobody plus special guests.

Slapo WorldWide is a new cat that has jumped into the Melbourne bar and club scene, building the bridge that takes Melbourne to the world via the internet - live. Slapo WorldWide (SWW) hosts independent labels and artists such as C Zonar, If? and Clan Analogue as well as supporting various locally based film, radio, fashion & art shows. SWW is a harbour for contemporary music, art and technology. Wednesday and Thursday it is the place to witness the weird, electronic, drum & bass and jungle. Friday night host Flaky gives you electronic beats while Simon Morris invites you to experience deep house on Saturdays. Hip hop survivors can end the week with the endless supper gathering on Sundays.

SARATOGA Saturdays
Saratoga Saturday has taken on a fundamental role in pioneering a sound that is unique to Melbourne’s dance culture. Whether you’re a raver, clubber or something in between, DJs Jayson Digby, Richie Rich and Simon Digby will move the dance floor. The night warms up with deeper house sounds and gradually progresses into more pumping grooves. The philosophy of the DJs is to blend house and techno and all the electro sounds in between.
