Sponsorship Plan

I. Benefits to the Sponsors

1. Provides opportunities for involvement in promoting Filipino-Australian arts and support for multi-cultural initiatives at a community level;

2. Enhances your company image within the Filipino-Australian community in particular and the Australian public in general;

3. Provides marketing opportunities through corporate sponsorship/partnership;

4. Offers chances of product/service sampling and merchandising.





II. Types of Sponsorship

A. Major Sponsorship
1. Subscription as a major sponsor will entitle the sponsor an exclusive display of company logo through the calendar (approximately 11cm x 8.5cm).

2. The Bertud Collection calendar will print to a volume of 6,000 copies to be distributed nationwide through selected distributors at timely community events to capture the widest Filipino-Australian market as possible.

3. Opportunity to display the sponsor's logo/banner advertisement at the launching of the project and the painting exhibition. The launching of The Bertud Collection will be attended by the artists, community leaders, representatives from various arts institutions, sponsors and supporters of the project. Participating artists will also exhibit a few of their other artworks alongside with their calendar entries

3. The major sponsors logo/service details will also appear in any of the following areas:

• The Bertud Collection catalogue
• Promotional materials for the launch and painting exhibition
• The Bertud Collection exhibition guide
• Educational and community events
• National/local invitations
• Media releases
• The Bertud Collection website

B. Minor Sponsorship
1. Minor sponsorship gives an opportunity for subscribers advertise their products and services at the back of the calendar.

2. Logo display dimension is approximately 4cm x 2 cm.

3. The Minor Sponsor's logo/service details will also appear in any of the following areas:

• The Bertud Collection catalogue
• The Bertud Collection exhibition guide
• The Bertud Collection website

III. Market for Distribution

1. The Filipino community in Victoria (approx. 23,000) culminates at the Philippine Fiesta of Victoria 1998 in November. The annual Community Fiesta runs for 2 days and attracts an annual 10,000-15,000 visitors mainly coming from the Filipino community as well as visitors from a diverse range of ethnic backgrounds.

Supporting organisations will serve as the distribution machinery at the event aside from the official distribution centre to be established by The Bertud Collection organisers at the Philippine Fiesta.

2. National distribution of the calendar - 1,000 calendar copies for New South Wales, Western Australia and Queensland through our selected distributors coming from Filipino institutions and organisations.

All payments can be made by cheque to Tactical Designs at PO Box 1103, Altona Meadows, VIC 3018.
