Filters.

Many pumps are sold with the claim that they have a filter. In most instances the filter is too small to be of any practical use other than to stop small particles clogging the pump. The small size of these filters mean that frequent cleaning is required otherwise the pump will cease to function.

We now offer a large filter which can generally be adapted to any pump. Suitable for water 400mm minimum depth the filter container is packed with many BIO BALLS which allow usefull bacteria to adhere to them and these in turn destroy harmfull organisms and also trap sediments etc. Simple maintainance of the filter only requires an occasional removing from the pond and hosing the filter with the garden hose. Disassembling of the filter is not required.

We have a large range of filters including Ultra Violet enhanced units that can be added to your existing pond and equipment. While many filter units depend on gravity feed back to your pond some of our new range also include a totally sealed unit which does not depend on gravity to feed back to the pond. They can be placed if required below the outlet level of a waterfall yet still supply efficient filtration. Because access is only required from the top it is possible to actually bury the main filter body in the ground so that you do not have the problem of trying to hide a large filter.
